ISLAMABAD: Advisor to the Prime Minister and Senator Rana Sanaullah has stated that Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts are receiving global recognition, with both Iran and the United States expressing confidence in the country’s role.
Speaking on Samaa News’ program “Red Line,” Rana Sanaullah said the world is praising Pakistan’s constructive engagement. “Iran has confidence in Pakistan, America also has confidence in Pakistan that we are speaking the right way,” he remarked.
The advisor commended the role of Pakistan’s political and military leadership, asserting that the country is not alone in efforts to broker a ceasefire. He noted that China is also involved, while Turkey and Saudi Arabia have lent their support to ceasefire initiatives.
Rana Sanaullah emphasized that Pakistan is making concerted efforts to prevent a direct clash between Iran and Saudi Arabia. “The government of Pakistan has spoken the truth to Iran and Saudi Arabia,” he said, adding that other countries should also use their influence to further peace efforts.
He further highlighted that Pakistan has a defense agreement in place to protect the territory of Saudi Arabia, underscoring the longstanding strategic partnership between the two nations.
