LAHIORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 16-member squad for the three-match T20I series against Australia, scheduled to be played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The matches will be held on 29 and 31 January, and 1 February, with all games starting at 4pm (PKT).
Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi return to the T20I setup after missing Pakistan’s three-match away series against Sri Lanka earlier this month.
Shadab Khan will continue his comeback in the shortest format and will be part of a strong spin-bowling unit that also includes Abrar Ahmed, Mohammad Nawaz and Usman Tariq.
The Pakistan squad and support staff are expected to assemble in Lahore on Saturday, 24 January, with training sessions set to begin the following day.

Australia are due to arrive in Pakistan on Wednesday, 28 January. This will be only their second T20I series in Pakistan, following a solitary match played at Gaddafi Stadium in April 2022.
