QUETTA: Pakistan’s Meteorological Department has warned that cold and dry weather will persist across most districts of Balochistan.
The department said severe cold would continue in the northern areas.
Data showed Quetta recorded a minimum temperature of 2 degrees Celsius.
In Qalat, temperatures dropped to zero.
Ziarat recorded minus 1 degree Celsius, indicating intense cold.
Zhob recorded a minimum temperature of 5 degrees Celsius.
Other areas also reported low temperatures.
Sibi recorded 12 degrees, Turbat 16, Nokkundi 11 and Chaman 6 degrees Celsius.
Cold conditions were also reported along the coastal belt.

Gwadar recorded a minimum temperature of 14 degrees Celsius, while Jiwani recorded 16 degrees.
The meteorological department said cold and dry conditions were likely to persist over the next few days.
Residents were advised to take precautionary measures.
