ABBOTTABAD: The Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul held its passing-out parade on Saturday, showcasing graduating cadets and strong messages on national security.
Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu attended the ceremony as chief guest. He reviewed the parade and praised the cadets’ discipline and commitment.
Multiple courses completed training, including the 38th Technical Graduates Course, 72nd Integrated Course, 15th Mujahid Course, and 27th Lady Cadet Course.
Cadets from friendly countries also took part in the parade. They came from Iraq, Palestine, Maldives, Mali, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
Haider Company received the Quaid-e-Azam Banner for best overall performance.
During the ceremony, cadets took an oath of allegiance and pledged to serve and defend Pakistan with honor.
Air Chief Sidhu said PMA Kakul stands among the world’s leading military academies. He praised the inclusion of women cadets and called it a positive development. He also congratulated foreign cadets on their successful completion of training.
He said national security remains the top responsibility of all officers. He added that Pakistan’s armed forces remain alert and prepared to respond to any threat.
Referring to recent military developments, he said Pakistan demonstrated its capabilities in “Marka-e-Haq” and “Operation Bunyanum Marsus.” He said the Pakistan Air Force showed operational strength and achieved historic milestones.
He warned that any aggression against Pakistan would receive a strong and decisive response. He said Pakistan proved its readiness and resolve in recent months.
He also said Pakistan continues to support peace efforts globally and stands with the people of occupied Kashmir.
The ceremony concluded with a message of unity, professionalism, and readiness, as newly commissioned officers prepared to join active service.
