India should acknowledge military losses: Pakistan

Islamabad – The spokesperson for Pakistan’s Foreign Office has firmly dismissed all Indian claims regarding “Operation Mahadev,” stating they hold no significance for Pakistan.

Responding to discussions in the Indian Parliament about “Operation Sandur,” the spokesperson criticized Indian leaders’ statements as baseless and provocative, saying such remarks reflect a dangerous tendency to escalate tensions.

He revealed that on the night of May 6–7, India launched an attack inside Pakistani territory without conducting any investigation or presenting evidence regarding the Pahalgam incident.

Innocent civilians, including children, women, and men, were martyred in the Indian aggression.

Pakistan, however, effectively neutralized Indian fighter jets and military targets, which remains an undeniable fact.

The spokesperson urged Indian leadership to stop misleading their public and instead acknowledge the losses suffered by their armed forces.

He also recommended that India accept third-party involvement in enforcing a ceasefire.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan had offered assistance in probing the Pahalgam attack, but India refused to cooperate and acted unilaterally as judge, jury, and executioner, the spokesperson noted.

He further stated that any claim related to the so-called “Operation Mahadev” holds no value for Pakistan.

The Indian Home Minister’s account of the event is entirely fabricated.

“Is it merely a coincidence,” he questioned, “that the alleged perpetrators of the Pahalgam attack were killed just as the Lok Sabha debate began?”

The spokesperson affirmed that Pakistan would deliver a decisive response to any future act of aggression.

On a separate note, the spokesperson confirmed that Senator Ishaq Dar visited the United States from July 20 to 28.

During his trip, he chaired a session of the United Nations Security Council, presenting Pakistan’s stance on global issues.
