CHAMAN: Pakistani security forces foiled an infiltration attempt near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in the Chaman sector. Several Afghan militants were arrested during the operation.
Officials said the Pakistan Army acted swiftly to stop the militants from crossing into Pakistani territory. The arrested individuals were later presented before local residents.
On seeing the militants, the local population expressed anger and outrage. Residents demanded strict action against those involved in cross-border militancy.
Authorities said the operation underscores Pakistan’s commitment to securing its borders and preventing militant infiltration from Afghanistan.
