ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Monday exposed what it termed “false and misleading propaganda” by a so-called Afghan spokesperson, while asserting that Pakistan has carried out highly precise strikes against terrorist infrastructure in Afghanistan.
According to the ministry, Afghan Taliban regime spokesperson Hamdullah Fitrat has once again issued false and misleading statements. The ministry maintained that Pakistan targeted only the terrorist infrastructure of Fitna al-Khawarij and the Afghan Taliban in Afghanistan with utmost precision.
Official sources said accurate figures regarding airstrikes, destruction and capture of checkpoints, equipment, and casualties among Afghan Taliban regime and Fitna al-Khawarij operatives are regularly updated. Videos of the attacks are also released, the ministry claimed, contrasting this with what it described as the “usual propaganda regime” that presents fabricated information.
The ministry further alleged that the entire world is witnessing attacks carried out by the Indian-backed Afghan Taliban regime and its supported terrorist proxies. It cited the recent “cowardly attack” in Domail, Bannu, where 10 civilians, including women and children, were martyred.
Evidence has also come to light regarding the continued use of Afghan nationals for terrorist activities inside Pakistan, and this information is publicly available, including details presented at the Balochistan Interior Minister’s conference on April 5, the ministry added.
Another concrete fact, according to the ministry, is that terrorist leadership is being provided sanctuary and protection inside Afghanistan. UN and other international reports confirm the presence of dozens of terrorist proxies under the patronage of the Afghan Taliban regime.
The ministry also stated that Hamdullah Fitrat and other spokespersons of the Afghan Taliban regime regularly post fake, outdated, and even artificially generated propaganda videos and claims that are “only sponsored by their Indian masters and their propaganda network.” The ministry concluded that “truth always prevails over lies.”
