Pakistan Destroys Afghan Taliban Brigade, Corps Headquarters and Logistics Bases in Airstrikes

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s armed forces are continuing what security sources describe as “effective operations” against what they called unprovoked aggression by the Afghan Taliban regime.

Security sources say that Pakistan Air Force have carried out major air operations across multiple locations in Afghanistan, delivering a strong and decisive response to unprovoked aggression and destroyed key military installations of the Afghanistan.

According to officials, Pakistan Air Force jets targeted key military installations in Kabul, Kandahar, and Paktia. The strikes, they said, severely crippled the Taliban’s defensive infrastructure.

During the operation, two major brigade headquarters in Kabul were destroyed in precise air attacks. In Kandahar, a corps headquarters and a brigade headquarters were directly struck and rendered inoperative.

Security sources confirmed that Pakistani forces also destroyed an Afghan Taliban logistics base in Kandahar. They said the military is striking both air and ground targets, including cross-border logistics facilities.

Officials emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully prepared to respond to any internal or external aggression. They said the military has the capability to deliver a full-scale counterattack at the enemy’s doorstep.

“Pakistan has always promoted regional peace,” a security source said. “But there will be no compromise on national sovereignty or defense. The armed forces remain on high alert to neutralize any hostile designs.”

Media reports indicate that the 205 Corps Headquarters in Paktia was completely destroyed during the operation.

This operation underscores Pakistan’s commitment to defending its borders and deterring future provocations from across the Afghan frontier.
