Pakistan denies attacks on Indian Punjab

ISLAMABAD: During a joint press conference, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, alongside DG ISPR Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif, categorically denied Indian allegations that Pakistan targeted civilian areas in Indian Punjab.

The officials stated that while India carried out multiple drone and missile attacks on Pakistan’s urban regions and attempted strikes on military sites in Lahore, Pakistan acted with restraint and did not engage any civilian territories.DG ISPR emphasized that India’s narrative is built on falsehoods, including fabricated claims of Pakistani strikes on fifteen Indian sites. He clarified that projectiles fired by India, including some that landed within its own territory, were part of a strategy to blame Pakistan.
