Early reports indicate significant losses on the Afghan Taliban side, including the destruction of several border posts and military equipment. Pakistani forces continue to maintain full control of their positions, with operations ongoing to neutralize the threat.
The unprovoked aggression is viewed as a serious miscalculation by the Taliban regime, which has repeatedly failed to act against terrorist elements using Afghan soil to target Pakistan.
The Government of Pakistan has reiterated its firm resolve: any attempt to violate Pakistani territory or endanger the lives of its citizens will be met with a strong and calibrated response. Pakistan will take all necessary measures to safeguard its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the security of its people.
No official casualty figures have been released from the Pakistani side at this time, and the situation along the affected border sectors remains under close monitoring.
