KARACHI: The Pakistan national cricket team has departed for Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, to participate in a three-match One Day International (ODI) series against the hosts. The squad and team officials left from Karachi on Saturday, March 8, 2026, heading to the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka, which will host all three matches.
The series schedule is as follows:
· First ODI: March 11
· Second ODI: March 13
· Third ODI: March 15
The tour provides an opportunity for the national side to shift focus to the 50-over format following their recent early exit from the T20 World Cup 2026, a result that has sparked widespread debate and calls for a “post-mortem” of the team’s performance from fans and analysts alike.
Despite the recent disappointment, exciting contests are expected between the two sides in Dhaka. The series will serve as crucial preparation for both teams as they build towards future international as
assignments.
