Pakistan condemns Israeli plans of forced displacement of Palestinians

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strongly condemned recent statements by Israel indicating its intention to forcibly displace Palestinians from their land, calling the move a flagrant violation of international law and an attempt to undermine peace efforts in the Middle East.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), Islamabad expressed deep concern over Israel’s policy of forced displacement and the continued expansion of illegal settlements.

The statement underlined that such actions reflect Israel’s disregard for human rights and international humanitarian law.

The press release further focused on that Pakistan considers the ongoing forced evictions and settlement expansions as part of a broader strategy aimed at displacing the Palestinian population and altering the demographic balance of the occupied territories.

Furthermore, Islamabad urged the international community to play a proactive role in protecting the rights of Palestinians and holding Israel accountable for what it described as “grave violations of international law.”

In this regard, the MOFA’s remarks come amid mounting concerns over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where relentless Israeli airstrikes have devastated civilian infrastructure and claimed tens of thousands of lives.

Moreover, more than 64,000 Palestinians, including women, children, doctors, journalists, and humanitarian workers, have been killed in the ongoing Israeli military campaign.

So far, international humanitarian organizations have repeatedly warned of a looming famine in Gaza, accusing Israel of obstructing the delivery of essential aid to civilians.
