Pakistan Army Strikes 41 Taliban and Khawarij Posts Along Border

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s military continues operations under Operation Ghazab Lil-Haq along border areas in the Chaman, Zhob, Qila Saifullah and Nushki sectors.

Security sources said on the night of March 4 and 5, forces targeted 41 key posts of the Afghan Taliban and militants described as “Khawarij.”

Reports indicate significant enemy casualties and material losses during the strikes.

Officials said military operations under the campaign will continue until all objectives are achieved

Earlier strikes in Afghanistan, security forces destroyed a brigade headquarters of the Afghan Taliban’s 205 Corps in Kandahar during recent strikes.

Pakistani forces also targeted ammunition depots belonging to the group in the same operation, the sources said.

Earlier, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said 481 Afghan Taliban fighters had been killed so far. He added that Pakistani forces destroyed 226 check posts and captured 35 others during the campaign.

Pakistan’s military has carried out coordinated ground and air operations as part of the offensive.

In this strikes, a key leader of the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) Naeem alias Doctor, was also killed. He was close relative of militant leader Mahrang Baloch, highlighting his influence within the group.

Officials said Naeem was specifically targeted, and his death represents a major setback for the banned organization.
