KANDAHAR: Pakistan’s armed forces have carried out a retaliatory operation following a series of drone attacks that took place a day earlier, according to security sources.
The operation, described as a decisive response, targeted what officials identified as the headquarters of the militant group known as the “313 Intelligence Badri Brigade.”
The headquarters, which was believed to be coordinating various activities, was reportedly destroyed during the operation.
The retaliatory move came after drones were allegedly used in attacks that raised serious security concerns. Although details about the earlier drone strikes remain limited, sources indicated that the incidents prompted a swift response from Pakistan’s security establishment.
The development comes amid heightened security vigilance in the region. Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely and have reiterated their commitment to protecting the country’s sovereignty and maintaining stability.
Government representatives have also urged the public to rely on verified information and avoid spreading unconfirmed reports on social media. They emphasized that official statements will provide updates as more details become available.
Meanwhile, defense observers believe that the latest operation reflects Pakistan’s continued stance against militant threats and its readiness to respond to attacks targeting the country’s security infrastructure.
