NORTH WAZIRISTAN: The Pakistan Army launched infiltrated into Afghanistan soil occupied Afghan Taliban position in opposite to North Waziristan along the border.
As per details, Pakistani security forces carried out a targeted raid on a Afghan Taliban fighters today.
Troops crossed into Afghanistan and overran a militant forward post. Officials said four Taliban fighters were killed, and the Pakistan flag was raised over the site.
Following the operation, some Taliban fighters abandoned their positions and fled.
Afghan Taliban Militants fled into a nearby nullah (drainage channel) as the forces approached. Security officials reported four to five injured TTA fighters were also in the operation.
The team cleared three compounds, removed militant flags, and withdrew safely to their base at LM5. The operation was conducted as part of ongoing operation Ghazab Lil Haq
