The Chief of the Naval Staff confirmed Pakistan Navy’s preparedness and operational superiority, mentioning its decisive role during Marka-e-Haq and its continued commitment to safeguarding the country’s maritime interests.
The Naval Chief underscored that during Marka-e-Haq, Pakistan Navy maintained a high state of readiness and was fully poised to neutralize key adversarial threats, including the Indian Navy’s aircraft carrier.
He noted that the strategic positioning and operational preparedness of Pakistan Navy compelled the opposing forces to remain confined within what they perceived as safe havens, effectively limiting their maneuverability and operational reach.
“The conduct and mastery demonstrated during Marka-e-Haq send a clear and unequivocal message,” the Naval Chief stated, emphasizing that any attempt to challenge Pakistan’s maritime sovereignty will be met with a firm and proportionate response.
He further mentiond that the Navy’s vigilance and professionalism ensured deterrence without escalation, indicating a balanced and responsible defense posture.
The Naval Chief also shed light on the ongoing modernization efforts within Pakistan Navy. He focused on that the force is being equipped with state-of-the-art platforms and advanced technologies, significantly enhancing its ability to identify and target critical vulnerabilities and strategic assets of any adversary.
These developments, he said, are crucial for maintaining maritime security in an increasingly complex regional environment.
He pointed to the induction of advanced naval assets such as PNS Khaibar as a milestone achievement. He also referenced the forthcoming Hangor-class submarines, describing them as a significant addition that will further strengthen Pakistan Navy’s operational flexibility, combat effectiveness, and strategic reach across the maritime domain.
