The Pak-Afghan border remains closed for third day

Chaman: After the conflict on the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan’s security forces, the Pak-Afghan border corridor are closed on the three corridors.

According to the sources of the officials of interior department, due to the strain erupting on Saturday’s night, the Pak-Afghan border is closed on the Chaman, Badini Border in Qila Saifullah and Brahmcha Border in Chaghi.

The repatriation of the Afghan nationals is suspended temporarily on account of the border-closure. As many as five thousand Afghan immigrants are waiting on the border.

As soon as the border opens, these Afghan refugees will be sent back to Afghanistan.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan has a clear stance on the safe and respectful repatriation of the Afghan refugees from its territory.

Pakistan has stated on numerous occasions that it has hosted the Afghan nationals over past five decades and now it is time for them to return to their own home land.

Pakistan has to keep in view the matters of its national security, development infrastructure and progression of the people living in the remote areas of Balochistan and KP.

Furthermore, there have been Afghan nationals that have joined militant group that had launched attacks on the security forces, civilians and development infrastructure across Pakistan. Pakistan vows to maintains its sovereignty, peace and stability at the first place.

To add more to it, the Afghanistan’s security forces launched a military attack on Pakistan’s territory on 10th October’s night which was a very unprovoked and stunning move from Kabul.

This clearly was an undeserved stance after Pakistan’s hospitality of decades and playing its role in the development and trade in Afghanistan.
