By Friday evening, the border was reopened, allowing normal activities to resume. Pedestrian traffic and crucial trade movements have restarted. Authorities have confirmed that operations, including passport-based travel and trade, will continue as usual on Saturday.

Additionally, the reopening has allowed for the return of Afghan refugees who had been stranded at the border due to the closure.
