Forces continue a cautious operation in Cadet College WANA

WAZIRISTAN: The security forces have surrounded the Cadet College WANA and the Fitna al Khawarij militants are stuck in a contained area now.

According to the sources, some 350 students have been rescued so far. and still nearly 300 students are there inside the hall.

The IG Frontier Corps KP South is monitoring the operation.

A televised report discloses, the security forces continue a cautious and delicate operation keeping in view the protection of the lives of the students in the Cadet College WANA.

The security officials have stated that some 650 people were present inside the cadet college at the time of the attack.

The militants launched a suicide attack on the main gate of the college and completely destroyed it.

However, the security personnel killed both the militants outside the gate.

350 students have been safely rescued so far. Still some 300 people are there inside the building of the college.

The security officials have said that the militants are in contact with their handlers in Afghanistan.

The rescued students have lauded the security forces for the brave and tactful operation.

On the other hand, a suicide attack was carried out in the Judicial complex in G11 Islamabad today.

As many as 12 people lost their lives and 27 sustained serious injuries.

The motorcyclist attempted a forced entry in the Judicial complex and when failed, exploded himself with a blast.

The head and some other body-parts of the attacker have been recovered.

The interior minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that the attackers will be taken into account soon and the justice will be served.

In anther report, it has been disclosed that some credible clues were unmasked linking the suicide attack to the militants in Afghanistan.

Some suspicious social media posts in Afghanistan indicated that a militant-attack was to be launched in Islamabad a few hours later.
