Operation Hub success: Female bomber Khair-un-Nisa arrested Before Attack

KECH: The intelligence agencies received credible information indicating that as Fitna-e-Hindustan was preparing to carry out a suicide bombing. The information revealed that a resident of Tejaban in District Kech, Balochistan, identified as Farid, son of Ijaz, also known by the alias Zagrain, was playing a central role in the plot.

In this regard, Farid was responsible for training a female suicide bomber, identified as Khair-un-Nisa. Meanwhile, the intelligence representatives said Farid confessed to his involvement and provided further details about the planned attack. 

He disclosed that the female suicide bomber, Khair-un-Nisa, daughter of Abdul Wahid, was currently residing at the house of her uncle, Javed, in Hub. He also shared information about individuals allegedly assisting her.

In such a scenario, security forces launched a follow-up operation in Hub. As a result, Khair-un-Nisa was taken into custody before she could carry out any attack. So far, officials have focused on the fact that the arrests were made promptly and without any casualties. 

They noted that the operation indicates the effectiveness of intelligence-based actions and inter-agency coordination in countering terrorism threats.

However, the authorities reasserted their commitment to maintaining peace and security and stated that all those involved in planning or supporting terrorist activities would be dealt with according to the law. 

They also urged the public to remain vigilant and to cooperate with law enforcement agencies by reporting any suspicious activity.
