QUETTA: The government’s operations against Afghan refugees have intensified across Balochistan. Recent actions have focused on the districts of Chagai and Pishin.

In a crackdown led by Assistant Commissioner Nematullah Tareen, authorities demolished shops in the Sarkhab refugee camp. Dozens of Afghan nationals were also arrested during this operation.

Since the start of September, these intensified efforts have resulted in hundreds of Afghan families being sent back to Afghanistan through the Chaman border crossing.

Operations are not limited to these areas. Actions are also continuing in the Gardi forest area of Chagai district, indicating a widespread campaign across the province.
