SUI: A public forum was organized at the Frontier Corps headquarters in Sui under the supervision of Frontier Corps Balochistan (North).
The session was attended by the Inspector General of FC Balochistan (North), the Deputy Commissioner of Dera Bugti, local government officials, and prominent tribal elders.
The gathering focused on addressing public concerns, strengthening peace and stability, and devising a joint strategy for development and public welfare.
During the forum, the IG FC emphasized that peace and unity are the foundations of progress and prosperity in Balochistan.
He stated that the people of the province have successfully defeated the destructive plans of terrorists and stressed the need for collective efforts to counter anti-state elements.
He also highlighted the vital role of tribal elders in maintaining regional peace.
Tribal leaders welcomed the initiative, expressed their concerns openly, and appreciated the assurance of support for resolving key issues.
Discussions also covered matters related to education, healthcare, the condition of the Dera Bugti Kashmore road, and overall security.
Participants agreed that lasting peace and development in Balochistan require close coordination between the government, security forces, civil administration, and tribal leadership.
The Frontier Corps (FC) plays a pivotal role in maintaining security, peace, and stability across Balochistan.
As a paramilitary force under federal supervision, the FC is responsible for countering terrorism, curbing insurgency, and safeguarding the province’s borders.
By conducting regular security operations, the FC ensures a safer environment for residents, enabling development and economic activities to continue uninterrupted.
Beyond security, the FC is actively engaged in public welfare and development initiatives.
These include organizing open public forums (kachehris) with local tribal leaders to address community issues, collaborating with government authorities on infrastructure projects, and supporting education and healthcare programs.
The FC also assists in disaster management and humanitarian efforts, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between security forces, local administration, and tribal leadership to foster long-term peace and socio-economic progress in Balochistan.
