QUETTA: One of the individuals injured in the Quetta blast has succumbed to his injuries, while another remains in critical condition. The wounded were taken to CMH Quetta for medical treatment. The terrorist incident occurred at Munir Mengal Chowk on Sariab Road, when unidentified assailants launched a grenade attack followed by indiscriminate gunfire on a convoy led by Provincial Minister Ali Madad Jatak of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). Several people were injured and rushed to the hospital. Fortunately, Minister Ali Madad Jatak remained unharmed in the attack.On the other hand, the spokesperson for the Balochistan government strongly condemned the incident in harsh terms and expressed sorrow over the loss of lives.

He stated that those involved in the attack will be brought to justice. The spokesperson added that the nefarious intentions of extremists will be defeated, and peace in the province will be ensured at all costs.
