One killed, three injured in Machh grenade attack

MACHH: At least one person killed and three others were injured in a deadly grenade attack targeted a house in the Ab Gum area of Machh district of Balochistan on Wednesday.

SSP Rana Muhammad Dilawar told local media that four persons were sitting outside a house when unidentified attackers threw a hand grenade at them under the cover of darkness, resulting in the death of one person and injuring three others.

The deceased has been identified as Ahmed, while the injured include Zohaib, Wadood, and Hakeem Meer Hazar. All the victims are said to be members of the Raheja tribe.

The police and rescue services rushed to the scene, and the injured were immediately shifted to Civil Hospital Machh for medical treatment. The body of the deceased was also transported to the hospital for necessary procedures.

Security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to track down the attackers.

SSP Rana Muhammad Dilawar said that an investigation is underway and every effort is being made to bring the culprits to justice.
