One killed in firing incident in Turbat, assailants flee scene

Turbat: A young man was shot dead by unidentified assailants in the Malalai Bazaar area of Turbat. According to sources, two armed men on a motorcycle opened fire and fled the scene.

The victim was identified as Tahir Rehmdil.

Police arrived at the scene, shifted the body to a nearby hospital, and launched a search for the attackers.

Meanwhile According to Levies sources, another  man was shot dead by unidentified masked assailants riding a motorcycle in the Johan Cross Market area of Mangocher, Qalat.

The victim was identified as Mola Dad, son of Qadir Bakhsh, belonging to the Nechari tribe and a resident of Kohak.

In a tragic incident on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, unidentified assailants shot and killed a security guard working at a mobile tower along the CPEC road in the Samand area of Nall.

The victim, identified as Muhammad Aslam, son of Muhammad Bakhsh, was on duty when two unknown gunmen on a motorcycle opened indiscriminate fire, killing him on the spot.

The attackers managed to flee the scene, and the motive behind the killing remains unknown at this time.

These incidents add to the recent wave of violence in Balochistan.

Just a day earlier, two individuals were injured in a shooting on Quetta’s Sariab Road. Two days before that, a grenade attack in Quetta injured five, including a police officer. On Sunday, two civilians were martyred in a separate blast.
