DERA BUGTI; Two people were killed in a fierce gunfight between the Bugti and Chachar tribes near Dera Bugti.

The armed clash occurred at Kashmore Shahi Wah. According to police, the two men who died were members of the Chachar tribe. The incident is reported to be a result of a long-standing rivalry between the two groups.

Following the violence, police arrived at the scene. The bodies were taken to a hospital for necessary legal procedures before being handed over to their families for burial. An investigation into the incident is now underway.

Incidents of targeted killings in Balochistan are frequently linked to tribal rivalries, land disputes, and honour-related conflicts, which remain deeply rooted in the province’s social fabric.

Centuries-old traditions and a weak law enforcement framework often allow such violent confrontations to persist without accountability.

Blood feuds between tribes, revenge attacks, and competition over land or resources frequently escalate into fatal shootings, disrupting peace and stability.

Meanwhile Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has clarified that action will continue against the Indian-funded Fitna-ul-Hindustan militants on every front and every attempt to destabilize Balochistan will be thwarted.

CM Balochistan expressed satisfaction over the timely and successful action of the security forces against the terrorist elements associated with Fitna-ul-Hindustan in Parud, adding that the prompt response and action on the movement of terrorists is commendable.

He said that the security agencies have once again thwarted the evil intentions of the enemy with their professionalism and efficiency and effectively averted the threat to the peace of Balochistan.

CM Bugti said that the evil plans of Fitna-ul-Hindustan have been crushed once again. The brave people of Balochistan stand shoulder to shoulder with the law enforcement agencies. He paid rich tribute to the security personnel who took action in Parud, adding that these sacrifices made for the security and stability of Balochistan will not go in vain. Our struggle will continue until the complete elimination of terrorism.
