KUNDUZ: The National Resistance Front (NRF) reported that its forces carried out an attack against Taliban positions in Kunduz province on Thursday evening, 20 Qaws 1404.
The operation targeted a Taliban checkpoint located in the Sixth Police District of Kunduz city. The attack took place late at night and led to the deaths of two Taliban members, and another was wounded.
Furthermore, the NRF stated that no casualties were sustained by its fighters during the operation.
It also focused on the fact that no civilians were harmed in the incident, noting that the attack was conducted with care to avoid damage to civilian areas and infrastructure. Moreover, Kunduz province, located in northern Afghanistan, has witnessed intermittent security incidents over recent years due to its strategic importance and geographic position.
