Pakistani squash player Noor Zaman has advanced to the final of the Nations Cup in Ottawa after a dominant semi-final victory.
Zaman defeated Colombia’s Matias Knudson in straight games (11-3, 12-10, 11-3), securing the win in just 28 minutes.
However, there will not be an all-Pakistani final, as Ashab Irfan was defeated 3-1 by Egypt’s second seed, Mustafa Al-Sarti, in the other semi-final.
The tournament final will now be contested between Pakistan’s Noor Zaman and Egypt’s Mustafa Al-Sarti. The event has a total prize money of $31,250.
