RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir on Saturday firmly cautioned the Indian military leadership that war has no space in a nuclearised environment.
The Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul held the passing-out parade of the 152nd PMA Long Course, where cadets from several friendly countries, including the Maldives and Palestine, also graduated.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir attended the ceremony as the chief guest, where Field Marshal Asim Munir distributed awards among cadets for outstanding performance.. He inspected the parade and presented awards to the distinguished cadets.
No space for war in nuclearised environment
Addressing the gathering, Field Marshal Munir warned India that a nuclearised environment leaves no room for war. He urged New Delhi to resolve core issues with Pakistan in accordance with international norms, based on equality and mutual respect. Field Marshal and Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir attended the event as the chief guest. On his arrival, the audience gave him a standing welcome, while the military band played national tunes, adding to the enthusiasm of the occasion.
Field Marshal Asim Munir reviewed the parade and presented awards to cadets who had excelled in various categories.
He awarded the Quaid-e-Azam Shield to Babar Company, while the young cadets put on an impressive display during the march-past.
Besides the 152nd PMA Long Course, cadets from the 37th Technical Graduate Course, 71st Integrated Course, and 26th Lady Cadet Course also took part in the parade.
The ceremony also featured 40 foreign cadets from friendly countries, including Iraq, Yemen, Palestine, and the Maldives.
