No selfies with outlaws: Balochistan’s zero-tolerance policy

QUETTA: The official statement stated that any individual found taking selfies, making videos, or appearing in photographs with members or supporters of banned or anti-state organizations, including those linked with Fitna al-Hindustan (a term often used to describe foreign-backed disruptive entities), will face severe legal consequences.

The provincial government has intensified its crackdown on elements affiliated with outlawed terrorist organizations, particularly the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), and their foreign sponsors, such as India’s intelligence agency, RAW.

The BLA, long accused of orchestrating targeted attacks and promoting instability in the region, continues to act as a tool for foreign agendas aimed at disrupting peace in Pakistan’s largest province.

Despite repeated attempts by these insurgent groups to provoke violence and chaos, security forces and law enforcement agencies remain clear in their mission to eliminate these threats and restore peace and normalcy to the region.

The decision underlines the government’s zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism and its propaganda machinery. It also sends a clear warning to sympathizers and misguided youth who may unknowingly become part of the narrative pushed by extremist groups.
