QUETTA: Allegations that the security forces opened indiscriminate fire on peaceful Baloch protesters are baseless and nothing more than cheap politically motivated propaganda against the state. It is to be clear that the Pakistan’s law enforcement agencies operate under strict protocols that prohibit the use of force against peaceful demonstrators. To date, there is no credible evidence to support claims of unjust action in this case.
According to local sources and residents, the protest was organized after the death of Zeeshan Baloch, who was killed by the Indian-funded banned terrorist group Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and now the BLA of attempting to shift blame onto security forces in order to inflame tensions and further their agenda of promoting unrest in the area by blaming the security forces and state.
According to political analyst based in Balochistan, he said that it is ironic that individuals and groups aligned with militant outfits now pretending to be human rights defenders, while rejecting the claims of so-called social activist, he said that the state of Pakistan stands for peace, unity, and progress, the people of Balochistan will not accept the foreign funded narrative of maligning the state institutions for their own benefits and getting more dollars from their foreign handlers on the cost of blaming the state institutions.
Analyst said that the government need to take swift action those who are working for foreign countries agenda of promoting unrest in the province and put the blame of killing the Baloch youth. “Pakistan will not allow any militant narrative to derail country’s national integrity”, he said.

Government officials also reaffirmed their commitment to protecting the rights of all citizens, including peaceful protesters, while drawing a firm line against those who exploit such platforms to promote violence or insurgency.
The government has called on media outlets and civil society to remain vigilant against disinformation campaigns designed to sow discord.
