Quetta: Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan stated that after the formation of the current government, an important meeting was held to discuss key provincial issues.
He said that 16 billion rupees have been allocated for major projects in the province. Furthermore, 14,000 teachers have been recruited, and previously non-functional educational institutions have been made operational again.
He added that around 4,000 medical paramedics and doctors have also been appointed to strengthen the healthcare system.
Emphasizing youth empowerment, he said the frustration among the young generation must be addressed.
“Our youth are educated but lack job opportunities,” he noted, stressing that employment opportunities must be created for them.
However, he clarified that the government cannot provide jobs to everyone.
The Chief Secretary further mentioned that under a special program, 57,000 young individuals from Balochistan will be provided with employment opportunities.
It is worth mentioning that the current Balochistan is not only carrying out the revolutionary development projects in the province but it also aims to provide jobs opportunity to the youth of Balochistan.
The scholarship plan for the students, and the jobs opportunity for the people of Balochistan in the foreign countries are the tremendous measures taken in order to take the province out of chaos and poverty.
Similarly, the employment and the revenue from the mega projects like CPEC, Reko-DIq and Sendak will also help Balochistan to emerge as the most prosperous and the rich part of the country.

The reopening of new schools, hiring of thousands of new teacher, digitalization of all of the departments, improving the infrastructure of hospitals, launching mobile health units, upgrading the bringing latest technology in the fisheries department, construction of new roads and highways are the projects that will not only ensure historical rise of development and infrastructure but they will also generate employment and economy in the province to a greater extent.
