ISLAMABAD: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has released its weather outlook for the holy month of Ramadan 2026, predicting overall pleasant weather conditions throughout Pakistan.
According to the report, daytime temperatures will gradually rise during Ramadan, while nights will remain relatively cool.
The first ten days (first Ashra) are expected to be mostly dry in most parts of the country, although light rainfall is likely in northern and western regions.
Cold nights are forecast to persist in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and northern Balochistan.
During the second ten days (second Ashra), the weather is expected to become somewhat warmer.
Scattered rainfall is likely in northern areas, central Punjab, and the Potohar region, with the possibility of thundershowers and gusty winds at some places.
In the third ten days (third Ashra), intermittent spells of rain may continue in various parts of the country, particularly in northern Pakistan and central Punjab.
Meanwhile, a noticeable increase in heat is anticipated in southern Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan towards the end of Ramadan.
