ISLAMABAD: As many as 23 more people have lost their and nine others have been in the past 24 hours due to the torrential rains and floods in Pakistan.
According to details, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has released an updated report detailing the ongoing devastation caused by heavy monsoon rains and flooding across the country.
NDMA confirmed that 41 livestock have perished and 173 homes have been either completely or partially destroyed.
Since January 26, the total death toll from floods and rain-related incidents has surpassed 850 nationwide.
The Meteorological Department has issued warnings for continued heavy rainfall in the coming days. Authorities have been advised to remain on high alert, and the public is urged to take necessary safety precautions.
