Pakistan Army Launches National Wrestling Championship

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Army is organizing the National Wrestling Championship 2025–26 to promote young sporting talent across the country.

The championship is being held in phases at venues nationwide. It aims to provide young wrestlers with a strong platform to showcase their skills.

The Pakistan Army is conducting the event in collaboration with the Pakistan Wrestling Federation.

The championship officially began on December 31, 2025. The registration process ran from December 15 to December 30, 2025.

The competition consists of four stages. Each stage is being held in different parts of the country.

The first stage is taking place at the district level from December 31, 2025, to January 10, 2026. The second stage will be held at the divisional level from January 15 to January 20, 2026.

The third stage will follow at the provincial level from January 25 to January 30, 2026. The fourth and final stage will take place from February 5 to February 10 in Sialkot.

The Pakistan Army said it remains committed to creating opportunities for young athletes to develop and display their talent on a national platform.
