SURAB: Rahmat Saleh, a Member of the Balochistan Assembly from the National Awami Party (NAP), has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Surab that claimed the life of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Surab and injured several others. The banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), a proscribed terrorist outfit involved in numerous violent acts across the province, has been identified as the group behind the brutal assault.
Furthermore, the attack occurred earlier this week when militants opened fire on a National Bank Surab and other important government buildings, resulting in an intense exchange of gunfire.

The ambush was reportedly launched from multiple directions, indicating a well-coordinated plan by the perpetrators.
The BLA, which has claimed responsibility for previous attacks on security personnel and infrastructure, remains a significant threat to the stability of Balochistan.

In this sense, funeral prayers for the martyred ADC were held with full state honors, attended by senior civil and military officials. Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies have launched a large-scale search operation in and around the Surab district to apprehend those responsible.
