QUETTA: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan organized an awareness seminar at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) on Wednesday.
Titled “Role of Students in Eradicating Corruption,” the event aimed to educate youth on the harmful effects of corruption and inspire them to help build a corruption-free society.
A NAB delegation, led by Additional Director Mr. Imran Majeed, interacted with students and faculty. Officers outlined NAB’s mission and stressed the crucial role students play as agents of change. They urged students to base their lives on honesty, accountability, and a personal hatred for corrupt practices.
The speakers defined nepotism, bribery, and favoritism as forms of corruption and cited Islamic teachings that emphasize self-accountability and forbid corruption.
Ms. Samreen Sahiba, Director of NUML Quetta, appreciated NAB’s efforts and promised future cooperation. The event concluded with an exchange of shields and an awareness walk participated in by officers, faculty, and students.
