Mushahid Hussain Syed made a big prediction about Iran

ISLAMABAD: Senior politician and international affairs expert Mushahid Hussain Syed has warned that the United States has completed preparations for a possible military strike on Iran, saying that a major development could occur within the next 48 hours amid rapidly escalating regional tensions.

Mushahid Hussain described the current situation as “extremely sensitive,” noting that any miscalculation could turn the existing tension into open conflict. He stated that recent US military movements and diplomatic activity suggest that the situation has moved beyond routine posturing.

The coming two days are crucial, as all indications point to heightened readiness on the part of the United States. He added that Iran, in turn, is fully prepared to respond to any attack, raising serious concerns about the scale and consequences of potential retaliation.

He focused on the fact that Washington is deeply concerned about the nature of Iran’s response and how it could destabilize the wider region. “Iran’s reaction will not be limited in scope,” he warned, adding that any confrontation could quickly expand beyond bilateral engagement.

Furthermore, Mushahid Hussain revealed that several countries at the global level are urging the United States to avoid military action against Iran, cautioning that the consequences could be severe.

He noted that Iran’s large population and strong defensive capabilities mean that an attack could engulf the entire region in instability. In such a case, the veteran politician also pointed to what he described as a clear shift in US foreign policy.

He claimed that Washington’s approach has moved from an “America First” policy to an “Israel First” orientation, further intensifying tensions in the Middle East.

Moreover, the British news agency reported that the risk of an imminent US strike on Iran has increased significantly. The report stated that all signs suggest Washington could launch a sudden attack as part of its military strategy.

Meanwhile, Iran has closed its airspace to all flights as a precautionary measure. The United Kingdom has temporarily shut down its embassy in Tehran, while several Western countries have advised their citizens to leave Iran immediately.
