Two people killed, several injured in Balochistan

Dalbandin: Two people have been killed in two different  crime incidents in Dalbandin and Jhal Magsi areas of Balochistan.

In another incident near Abdul Majeed Adda on the Link Bypass Road, two brothers — Abdullah and Nasrullah, sons of Baiberg Muhammad Hassani from Sorgul Dalbandin — were severely wounded in a shooting.

Hospital sources confirmed that Abdullah received a bullet in his left shoulder, while Nasrullah suffered gunshot wounds in both legs.

Nasrullah was referred to Quetta for advanced treatment after initial medical aid.

According to SHO Dalbandin Abdul Waheed Baloch, investigations are underway in both incidents.

He stated that while the motive behind Nazar Muhammad’s murder is unclear, the second incident appears to be linked to a financial dispute.

FIRs have been registered and the search for suspects is ongoing.

In another tragic event in Jhal Magsi, a man killed his father-in-law and injured three people, including his wife and brother-in-law, after allegedly being denied permission to take his wife along.

According to police, Muhammad Rafiq Magsi forcefully entered the house and opened fire, killing Saifal Magsi.

The suspect fled the scene afterward. The injured were taken to a local hospital and later referred to Larkana for further treatment. Police have begun an investigation into the case.

Separately, a dead body was found in the Gandakha area. Police reported that the body of Saifullah Brohi was recovered from a watercourse in Bagh Head village.

The body was handed over to relatives after necessary legal procedures, and further investigation is ongoing.

t is worth mentioning that several murder cases have taken place in some deserted areas of Balochistan in the past many years.

Most of such crime incidents take place on the bases of personal enmity or tribal clashes.

A series of crime incident is also recorded on the name of honour.

Often some tortured or bullet-riddled bodies of people are found in desolate places of Balochistan.

Such brutality and lawlessness raise questions on the situation of law-and-order and the role of the police and the other concerning departments.

One of the most unfortunate aspects of the murder incidents occurring in Balochistan is, that they are carried out by the tribals and the Jirgas across the province themselves.

Such incidents raise deprivation and uncertainty among the people if the justice is not served through the policing and the judiciary system.
