QUETTA: Member of the Balochistan Assembly and leader of Jamaat-e-Islami, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch, has strongly criticized the federal provincial governments for depriving the Balochistan’s people from national resources and fundamental rights.
While talking to journalists in Quetta, MPA Hidayat-ur-Rehman accused successive governments of neglecting Balochistan in major national development initiatives, including the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), Reko Diq projects, and the Samrat Motorway.
He added that Balochistan has been denied its rightful share in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and economic opportunities.
Regarding the Balochistan’s underdevelopment, JI leader pointed out the absence of railway connectivity, poor road infrastructure, lack of employment opportunities, and inadequate healthcare in many areas, adding that half of Balochistan is still without electricity, and there are no proper hospitals, schools, or even tourist facilities in many districts.

Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman announced that Jamaat-e-Islami is launching a mass movement to demand rights for the people of Balochistan, adding that we are preparing for a massive rally in Quetta and a long march to Islamabad. Millions will sit in protest until justice is served.
