QUETTA: Iran has pushed Mossad to seek alternative launch pads for its subversive operations. There are several intelligence assessments increasingly point to Balochistan, due to its volatile political environment and strategic border proximity, as a potential new theatre.
The codename ‘’Operation Silver Falcon’’ is being used within Israeli planning circles to describe efforts to ignite unrest across the Iran-Pakistan frontier. The goal appears to be to entangle both Iran’s IRGC and Pakistan’s security forces in a dual-front distraction.
Furthermore, one of the alleged ocal network is the Baloch Yekjehti Committee (BYC), led by Dr. Mahrang Baloch, who has gained prominence for organizing anti-state protests under the guise of human rights advocacy.
In this sense, authorities claim Dr. Baloch’s activism is heavily slanted, exploiting humanitarian discourse to shield separatist narratives and incite local populations against the Pakistani state without presenting verifiable evidence to back her claims.
Dr. Baloch was briefly detained on March 23, 2025, during a protest in Quetta, an action that momentarily disrupted the momentum of BYC’s activities. However, intelligence intercepts suggest that she continued transmitting strategic directives from custody.
In such a scenario, Filling the void left by Dr. Baloch’s detainment, Simi Deen a lesser-known BYC field organizer has reportedly emerged as a direct contact point for Mossad. Informed sources claim that two Israeli technicians, operating under the codenames “Ezer” and “Yishai,” who were expelled from Iran, have resurfaced in the Sarbaz–Taftan corridor.
