Bajaur: Afghan Forces Mortar Attack on Pakistani Civilian Area in Leti (Tari Pisha), Salarzai Tehsil – Four Brothers Martyred
According to local sources, mortar shelling from across the Pakistan-Afghanistan border struck a residential house in the Leti area of Tari Pisha, near the border in Salarzai tehsil, Bajaur district.
As a result of the attack, four individuals present in the house were martyred on the spot. All four victims were brothers, identified as Sajid, Ayaz, Riaz, and Muaz.
Security sources reported that mortar shells fired by Afghan forces landed in the Salarzai area and surrounding regions of Bajaur, resulting in four civilians martyred and one person seriously injured in the civilian-populated Leti area.
The injured individual was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where treatment is ongoing, according to hospital sources.
Following the Afghan aggression, strong anger prevails among the people of Bajaur.
Security sources stated that Pakistan’s armed forces are responding forcefully to the cowardly attacks by the Afghan Taliban.
