Mohsin Naqvi to pay Haris Rauf’s fine personally

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi has decided to pay Haris Rauf’s fine personally.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has decided to personally pay the fine imposed on national pacer Haris Rauf by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

The ICC imposed a fine of 30 percent of the match fee on Rauf for his gestures during the Asia Cup match against India, where he signaled for “six zeros” and mimicked a plane crash. The action was taken following a complaint from the Indian cricket board (BCCI).

According to the ICC’s ruling, both Haris Rauf and fellow player Sahibzada Farhan were found guilty of Level 1 offences under the ICC Code of Conduct. While Rauf was fined, Sahibzada Farhan received a warning for celebrating his half-century by waving his bat like a gun.
