Mohsin Baloch recovered after forces'operation

QUETTA: An intelligence-based operation, which continued for six days in search of missing youth Mohsin Baloch—who had disappeared from Quetta on August 3—culminated in success in the oasis region of Tump, Kech district.

In a brief yet decisive late-night operation, Mohsin was safely recovered, while weapons, communication devices, and movement maps were also seized from the hideout.

After an initial medical examination, he was handed over to his family, and the follow-up investigation has been assigned to the local police/Levies and Counter-Terrorism Units.

Mohsin Baloch went missing on the evening of August 3 from a suburban commercial zone of Quetta.

Upon the family’s request, a report was filed at the relevant police/Levies station, and a 4-C authority alert was issued immediately.

By combining CCTV footage with ANPR hits of vehicles leaving the city, suspicious movement of a double-cabin vehicle was detected heading towards Surab via the N-25 late at night.
