QUETTA: In order to ensure the security and order in sacred days of Muharram, the mobile network services will be completely suspended in provincial capital on 9th and 10th Muharram (Saturday and Sunday) as part of security measures during Muharram processions.
According to official sources, the internet and cellular services will remain suspended on 9 and 10 Muharram in Balochistan’s capital Quetta. The decision was taken to ensure the peace and order during the Muharram days.

The country will observe Ashura days, Muharram 9 and 10, on July 5 and 6, to remember the sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions in the battle of Karbala.
