Mobile Internet Closure in Balochistan is Unavoidable: Federal Government

QUETTA: The closure of mobile internet in Balochistan has now taken some 10 days adding to the miseries and troubles of the people.

Senator Kamran Murtaza of Jui has given a notice to show cause in the Senate of Pakistan.

Jui Senator has said that some 10 days have gone past.

It is said that the situation of the security has been improved after the closure of the mobile internet service.

If that is so, let this move be operational in the entire country.

However , the federal minister for the parliamentary affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhary has said that the decision has been taken keeping in view the security concerns.

He said that the mobile data service in Balochistan was temporarily suspended on account of security reasons from 6th to 31st August.

However, the flights, trains and the roads are operational.

Tariq Fazal Chaudhary further said that the purchased mobile phone packages during the closed mobile data service tenure will remain secured and they will be shifted to the next month.
