Hub, Balochistan’s industrial and commercial hub near Karachi, has witnessed a concerning rise in criminal activities over the past five years.
Incidents of armed robberies, extortion, car and motorcycle snatching, and targeted attacks have been repeatedly reported, affecting both local residents and business owners.
Law enforcement agencies have acknowledged that the city’s growing population and its position as a key trade route have made it increasingly vulnerable to organized crime.
Police records and local reports suggest that despite several operations, crimes in Hub remain frequent, with petrol pumps, traders, and commuters among the primary targets.
Citizens have repeatedly demanded stricter policing, improved patrolling, and modern surveillance systems to curb the wave of insecurity.
