RAWALPINDI: The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) has said that on December 12 and 13, 2025, security forces eliminated thirteen militants affiliated with the Indian proxy group Fitna Al Khwarij during two separate intelligence-based operations carried out in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

According to the ISPR, an intelligence-based operation was conducted in Mohmand District following reports about the presence of militants in the area.

During the operation, security personnel effectively engaged the identified location. After an intense exchange of fire, seven militants were neutralized.

In a separate intelligence-led operation in Bannu District, security forces successfully eliminated six additional militants, further disrupting the group’s activities in the region.

Security officials stated that sanitization operations are ongoing to ensure the clearance of any remaining Indian-sponsored militants from the affected areas.

The counterterrorism drive is being carried out under the national vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan.

Authorities reaffirmed that security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue their coordinated efforts at full pace to eradicate the threat of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
