Bannu Police Kill 4 Terrorists in an Operation

Bannu: In a successful operation by the Bannu Police, four terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khwarij were killed.

According to the District Police Officer (DPO) Bannu, the fleeing terrorists left behind the bodies of two of their slain accomplices.

Heavy weaponry, explosive materials, and tactical maps were recovered from the site.

Authorities revealed that the terrorists were planning a major sabotage attack in the area.

Police continue to conduct search and clearance operations to secure the region.

Security Forces Operations in KP Areas

Security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have significantly intensified intelligence-based operations to combat rising militant activity and dismantle terror networks across the province.

Key operational areas include North and South Waziristan, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, Khyber, and Dera Ismail Khan, where joint forces consistently target high-value targets, facilitators, and hideouts.

In recent actions, such as the successful operation by Bannu Police against Fitna al-Khwarij elements, security personnel have thwarted major sabotage plans, neutralized key operational figures, and recovered substantial caches of arms, explosives, and tactical maps.

The strategy relies heavily on precise intelligence, quick response teams, and continuous search and clearance sweeps to prevent militants from establishing permanent footholds.

Despite persistent counter-attacks and roadside explosive threats, law enforcement agencies and the military maintain high surveillance and remain committed to restoring long-term peace and enforcing the state’s writ throughout the region.
