LAKI MARWAT: The Fitna al khawarij militants shot-killed Assistant Sub Inspector in the Tank area of KP.
According to the security sources, the militants killed Assistant Sub Inspector Mumtaz Ali in the Peezo Police Station Tank area in KP.
ASI Mumtaz Ali was deputed in the City Police Station in Tank and was on his way to avail casual leave while the militants off-loaded him from the car and shot-killed him.
The militants fled away from the the spot. The police team arrived on the spot of murder incident, shifted the body to the hospital and launched a search operation in the entire area.
The prominent poltical and security officials have expressed deep grievance over the martyrdom of ASI Mumtaz Ali calling the killing a brutal and cowardice act by the militants.
The security officials have vow that all the culprits will be held accountable for the brutal killing of Mumtaz Ali and the justice will be served to the family of the martyr.
It is worth-mentioning that the KP police has launched massive operations in many areas in the last few days eliminating numerous Khawarij.
It was yesterday when 8 militants were killed in an operation by the security forces in the Karak area.
The forces have launched successful operations in the past couple of days killing more than 20 Fitna al Khwarij across KP.
